From Dreaming of the World to Healing the World
Born in the Netherlands, my early years were steeped in the grounded, practical perspectives of Dutch culture. But at 13, my world expanded in ways I never expected when my family made a bold move to Perth, Australia.
This shift—from the familiar comforts of home to an entirely new world—taught me what it means to trust the unknown, adapt to change, and embrace life’s adventure.
I always dreamed of traveling the world like my grandparents. At 18, life revealed a different kind of adventure when I discovered the power of healing hands—an awakening that would shape my journey in ways I never could have imagined.
I didn’t know it then, but this was the beginning of a path that would take me across continents, through the skies, and deep into the realms of energy, intuition, and quantum healing.
From Flight Attendant to Soul Guide: Answering the Call
As a flight attendant for United Airlines, I had a front-row seat to human nature.
At 35,000 feet, I learned that turbulence isn’t just something that happens in the sky—it happens in our hearts, our lives, and our minds.
I saw firsthand how fear, uncertainty, and anxiety showed up in people—and how a calm presence, a compassionate touch, or a simple conversation could bring peace to someone mid-flight.
But after 9/11, everything changed. The world felt heavier. People carried more fear. And one day, a pinched nerve at high altitude became the unexpected wake-up call I needed.
Then, I heard it—the voice inside me, loud and clear:
"If this is a pain in the butt, what's it going to take to get you off your butt to do what you came here to do?"
Oof. Talk about a cosmic nudge.
Leaving the security of a paycheck wasn’t easy. But I knew deep in my soul—I was meant for something more.
And so, with faith (and a whole lot of trust!), I stepped into my true calling: guiding others to transform their fears, release old patterns, and align with their most abundant, joy-filled selves.
Housesitting & The Ultimate Trust Experiment
Since 2015, housesitting has been one of the greatest teachers of trust, divine timing, and support in my life.
Imagine not knowing where you'll be living next week or next month—but trusting that the right opportunity will appear at exactly the right moment.
This journey has been a living embodiment of my teachings:
- Trusting the Universe even when you don’t have all the answers.
- Knowing you are always in the right place at the right time.
- Recognising that life supports you when you truly believe it does.
And time and time again, I’ve seen that when you align with trust, everything unfolds in ways more magical than you could ever plan.
From Financial Turbulence to Founding Uplifters Nation
Success isn’t always a straight path.
I’ve experienced the highs of entrepreneurship and the lows of financial struggle.
But the biggest lesson I’ve learned?
Abundance isn’t just about money—it’s a state of being.
It was a mystical experience in Glastonbury—where the Universe literally spelled my name across the landscape—that reminded me:
- You are always guided.
- You are never alone.
- You are meant for something greater.
That moment planted the seed for Uplifters Nation—a global movement dedicated to eradicating poverty consciousness and awakening the world to embodying infinite abundance.
Today, this community is a beacon for those ready to step into their power, elevate their frequency, and live with more joy, purpose, and prosperity.
